*Are Michigan Psychic Fair events open to the public?
Yes.

*How much is admission?
Admission is $5. Children under 12 are free with an accompanying parent. Save $1 off of regular admission with this coupon.

*How much do the readings cost?
Reading prices vary by reader. Broadly speaking, full sessions, which usually last about a half hour, run in the area of $50. Most of our readers are also willing to offer mini sessions for a reduced fee. Please feel free to ask any reader what they charge per session prior to committing to sitting down for a reading.

*How long do readings last?
Readings are generally about half an hour. Some readers will do a shorter reading (for a reduced fee) upon request.

*What sort of readings are offered?
Our readers work in a variety of disciplines, including tarot, psychic counseling, mediumship, psychometry, channeling, numerology, and palmistry. Not all types of reading will be available at all shows. If you are interested in a particular type of reading at a specific date, feel free to Contact Us to confirm availability.

*Is this all? I was expecting something bigger.
Many people come to us who have been to large annual or semi-annual shows, and are surprised that our events aren't of a similar size. With our weekly events, we are aiming for a more intimate setting than those festivals offer. We strive for an atmosphere in which our readers and clients are able to communicate on a deeper level, where the client doesn't feel as if he or she is simply being impersonally processed through. While the number of participants at our weekly fairs varies, we generally have around five to eight readers. Unlike some larger fairs, all of our participating readers, healers, and vendors have been screened beforehand.

*Do I get to choose my own reader?
Yes.

*How do I decide on a reader?
There is a literature table set up at every fair where all of our participants place information about themselves. Also, if a reader is not in the middle of a reading, he or she is very happy to answer any questions you may have, including what sort of readings and the cost per session.

*What if the reader I am interested in is busy?
All readers have sign-up sheets at their tables. You are welcome to place your name on the list. You will be called when your turn arrives.

*Do I need to make an appointment?
No. Our fairs operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

*What sort of payments are accepted at your fairs?
Because our readers and vendors are private contractors, it is up to their discretion what sort of payment they will accept. All of our readers will accept cash payments. Most will accept checks, with suitable ID. Many of our regular participants accept credit cards, but we cannot guarantee that the reader you choose will take this payment. *How are readers selected to participate in Michigan Psychic Fairs?
Readers apply to participate. They are accepted on the basis of a variety of factors, including skill as a reader, experience, reputation, and professionalism.

*Why isn't _________ here? They were in your advertising/They were at your last fair.
Our readers function as private contractors. They sign up for only those fairs they wish to, and are not required to participate at every event. The promotions for specific dates reflect who has signed up to participate at that event at the time we publish the promotion. Our readers are human: Family emergencies and other life events may force them to cancel on short notice.
